For those who may not be familiar, Amazon RDS is a managed relational database service that makes it easy to set up, operate, and scale databases in the cloud. With RDS Custom, you can bring your own database instance and run it on AWS.
The addition of Osaka as a supported region means that users in Japan can now deploy SQL Server-based workloads with better performance, lower latency, and reduced costs by storing their data closer to their users.
