the vampire mythos is a cultural meme about this, but the idea of evil feeding off things like people's attention is very real, even if it doesn't seem like something you could put in a bottle.
whatever it is that your ordinary psychic vampire (psychopath) does to hold your attention and get you to give them stuff, there is far more intense forms of this that involve the deaths of millions, it's just logical there must be a continuum when this stuff is happening, why are they doing it? it's not possible it's only smug satisfaction or something like this, there must be an energy in this equation, for those who have the technology to harvest it
