I did not spend 15 'eff'ing months in the whole-stack middleware-and-apps software performance profiling & optimization salt mines, finally attaining top-notch GNOME desktop performance (& stability) for the first time in 13 years, only to go back to the jank-pit six months later 😤️
It would be very hard to resist the temptation to upgrade, but I have a bit of a "How many apps and GPU drivers can break? Six months is a long time to be enduring regressions" apprehension…
