I need help from the #food and #cooking bubble...
What's better for grinding fresh small chili (Bird's eye chili, in this case):
* grater style: a spring-loaded stamper presses chili onto a circular grater, e.g. Microplane
* mill style: gravity feeds chili into a ceramic grinder, e.g. CrushGrind (or Peugeot, but ceramic lasts longer)
My gut is that microplanes should work better, but ceramic grinders should last longer and be easier to dose.
Retoots, experience, and thoughts appreciated.
