What I mean is, we don't have time to say things like "ugh, people, humans, including me, we just suck." We don't have time to wallow in feelings of general hopelessness.
And also it's just not factually true.
The industrial-colonial-fossil system is a tiny weird little system created by a handful of Europeans and imposed on the rest of humans.
Let's isolate it and root it out, instead of seeing it as something inherent in humanity.
