What do I trade?
Around 99% of my trading time is focused on the forex markets and the balance on the crypto markets or more specifically, on #bitcoin. I’m not a crypto trader, I only trade bitcoin over weekends when all my other markets are closed and only if I have nothing else to do.
Not sure about the income derived from crypto trades but I seriously doubt it’s more than 1% of my trading income.
Most traders I know monitor several trading pairs for trading opportunities. I personally prefer to focus on a single pair only. For me it’s like dancing. If you dance with the same partner often enough you eventually get to know them so well that you can anticipate most of their moves before they make them.
My ‘dancing partner’ is the EUR/USD trading pair. For many it’s not ‘wild’ enough but it suits my trading style perfectly. If you do large trades then this is the best pair as it offers the best liquidity so getting large trades filled are never an issue. Another advantage is the low or zero spread which helps the overall profitability of trades.
And that’s that. I only focus on the EUR/USD pair. I see no need to shift or divide my focus as I earn more than enough profits from this single pair and after all these years I know it quite well.
