Hitler's trial was broadcast over radio and that's how he came to be widely known in Germany in the 1920's.... So sometimes broadcasting the trial doesn't go well. In the case of Trump today, he's got a massive platform already, so perhaps broadcasting the trials would help, honestly i doubt it.
