There was a big puddle INSIDE the room where I usually milk the goats this morning (this appears to be a "feature" of our barn - there's been a puddle in this room every year during thaw. Of course, in the 5 years I've lived here, thaw has happened in April-May, not early Feb 😬 ).
I cannot put into words how offended the goats were that this puddle DARED to get in between them and their morning grain. It took a lot of extra encouragement to get them onto the stanchion. Poor goats.
