Apple reported having 1 billion paying users.
First of all, that is very likely the biggest paying customers user base in the world by far.
Second, no worries for the Apple’s future. Having a billion people to actually pay for something on a regular basis is a lot better than fighting ad blockers and growing privacy regulation, or DRM-ing the web.
