Just as Foucault's reductionism that everything is about power, this has the same flaw imo ... it's black and white ... i agree very much with the notion that authority has to be questioned and disobeyed (at times), there is also the possibility of consenting to authority, which then does not lead to enslavement. in such a scenario the authority would be the slave of the consentees ... isn't equating authority with evil the same as equating myself with good ... authority is a thing and will always be, at least in this world. So i hope to reach a deeper understanding of it than rejecting it.
