We have to read the Bible based on the mentality of the people of the time when it was written....to adapt it to the today's mentality we have the Church....and the Pope....maybe you avoid a lot of sodomy and propagation of diseases by having gay couples. Christ said most likely will not enter Heaven and told us to not accumulate money on Earth and I don't see Rich people being denied blessings until they give all what they have to the poor. I guess we are being strong with the weak and weak with the strong.
