They say that our memories are tied to our sense of smell. What's a smell that sends you to your favorite memories?
I have two.
First one is ice rinks. The ice has a distinctive smell and with a single inhale I'm suddenly back to being a twelve year old playing hockey with my friends. I wish they could bottle that smell.
The other one is second hand book stores. Immediately I'm mentally transported to my favorite chair, a pile of books and my favorite coffee.
