You might want to look at it from another angle. Text messages by law are kept by the carrier in storage for 2 years & through the telecommunication act if the government of any form from police to the highest need to access you for any reason by this act the carrier must comply & cannot deny the government from accessing your telecommunications. Back in the days people we're told call me if you need to talk text me if there's an emergency so theres plenty of 20-40s growing up with that instilled in them.
Also not everyone wants to leave a record of conversations through text so one day you could get pissed off at them & mess with their lives. What you think in your note of what you think people who call people think is the first i've ever heard of. As a person who prefers to call to talk instead of text I don't think that & i'm sure everyone else who prefers to call over text doesn't think that way.
Also your note could be assumed in vice versa. I work & do lots of different things throughout the day & I use my hands a lot. So when people text out a whole conversation to me the first thought in my mind is I gotta call this person later because I don't have 2 minutes to write a text because i'm busy doing things. This is why you call back later so when you're thinking that when someone calls you just text them i'll call you later.
