In the wake of the last decade of domestic and world events, I have witnessed the disintegration of the social fabric of western society.
Depending on what side of the fence you live on, we often blame those who differ on opinion and feed on the media that narrates the position they feel comfortable in believing.
From politics to the economy, from culture to war, we watch and evaluate a reaction served to us in the 24/7 news cycle that is the information age.
I like to believe that whatever side you land on, we should all have some similarities in abhorrent behaviors carried out by the most cowardly of society.
I have been extremely vocal about peace and harmony, steeped in love and understanding.
My peacefulness is best witnessed by when I am left alone to live my life without intervention from outside sources who wish to force oppression and obstruction to my God given right to survive in peace on my property.
My freedom comes from the price I choose to apply value to and I gain liberty from paying that price of the things I consume.
This is a value that I enjoy because of the hard work and perseverance I and others have granted me over years and years.
It has been said that a peaceful man is the most dangerous man, and this rings true in my life and existence.
This past weekend we witnessed the brutality of two factions that have been at odds for as long as I have been alive and dates back not only to the prior mid century, but back thousands of years.
I make no claim to understand the struggles of either one of these people's and I have no dog in the fight that I could never understand.
However, in the minimum of the sights I have seen in the media, the reports and the descriptions of the attacks. I can only react with repulsion of the pictures and destruction of life.
I will say this about those who are condoning and supporting the actions of terrorists.
It is repugnant. It is sick, it is evil.
This sickness invades the halls of our government and in the campuses of our colleges.
Being a peaceful man, knowing only the little that I know. I am sure of one thing.
In the shoes of the attacked, I would use every bit of force and war to annihilate those who invaded, killed, raped and committed unspeakable attrocoties.
In war, you must be more ruthless than your foe, and unfortunately the attacked must respond with unmerciful violence and wipe those from existence to insure that this would ever happen again.
It must be quick and decisive. Brutal and final.
My prayer is that peace covers the earth, but when a peaceful man is provoked by unspeakable destruction, he must become a warrior and retaliate with every inch of his soul.
This will not be pretty and might seem more barbarian that the attackers, but when the peaceful man is victorious over evil, he shall return to his quiet demeanor steeped in love, peace, freedom and liberty.
