I’ve been thinking a lot lately about constitutional amendments. With Congress unable to function and no one in federal govt willing to problem solve, this feels like the only way plebs (via states) might actually create real change in the current environment.
joecarlasare (npub1s9z…nszc) , how realistic is this process? Maybe easier in this environment with social media enabling grass roots?
Feels like we could all agree on:
- term and age limits for politicians
- no insider trading
- federal spending capped at receipts / balanced budget
What else?
