Unless you're working with dog whistles (pun unintentional but lol) there's no point working on non-audible frequencies. Or I guess you could be a bat enthusiast or something.
People confuse the sampling rate with audio frequency all the time so they think that 96khz sampling rate and 96khz audio frequency are the same thing. They're not. I mean, I keep coming across (totally randomly of course) porn at 360p with 192KHz audio sampling, wtf. Someone really likes their moans.
