The difference between how University/College administrators and faculty are treating #StudentProtests should tell you a lot about how the corporatization of the education system has essentially broken it.

Administrators have essentially turned into low level C-suite aspiring bean counters kowtowing to whatever overlord writes cheques. Meanwhile underpaid faculty are desperately trying to protect and support their students as they do their best to uphold the values of education in a liberal democracy.

These protests are as much as indictment on the entire education system as it is on the complete failure of political leadership.
