Today I went to the biggest event in my community- the 2-yearly school fair. There were hundreds there, moving between indoors and outdoors, but I only saw one other person in a mask (the woman staffing the white elephant stall, bless her). That includes people I’m fond of - relatives, friends and neighbours. It’s surprising how surprised people look to see a mask 🤷🏻♀️
I’m not giving up masking in crowds, but it feels lonely sometimes- I came away feeling pretty sad 😭
