#OTD 11 September
This day has dissonance for me. The terror attacks of 2001 and the anniversary of my parents' marriage fall on the same day. This may sound strange, but I'm grateful that my mother had died not long before that terrible day. We no longer have a need to celebrate and can instead honor the memory of those who died that day.
