Here's my first day of classes 'our languages' report - I ask students to self report their languages in these categories:

- those they are comfortable holding a conversation in;
- those they aren't conversational in but can use a bit;
- those they have studied in school;
- those that they consider their heritage languages.

A little over 300 students, mostly freshmen, all in gen-ed classes:
