I decided to put the bread machine on, so I've fresh bread for lunch.
The yeast tin is almost empty, and when I reached in with the spoon, my thumb caught on the edge where the ring pull lid had been.
I say caught on the edge, I mean 'cut deeply by a razor sharp edge'.
Lots of blood, way beyond 'stick a plaster on and keep going'. I've wrapped it tightly in non-adhesive gauze dressing.
Great start to the day.
Still got the bread going, obviously. Got to have priorities.
