All the internet urbanists talk about how they hate the city designs in Okinawa and I'm here like "I think this is actually cool, reminds me of Honolulu"
It could use improvements, sure, but I vibe with the unique atmosphere. Plus, I feel like Okinawa having cities distinct from mainland Japan is important given that Okinawan culture itself is dying. Making the cities identical to mainland Japanese cities would kind of complete the colonization
