You could easily do things like migrate the users following, but would have to do something like alert the followers of the new pubkey.
I keep trying to think of a way for users to store their contacts let's say in their personal contacts like on their phone or whatever but if it notices the nip05 change pubkeys to another one it could alert and offer to update it or something along those lines.
