Thoughts so far:
StarTech SATA disk eraser: impressive, pretty fast, even with HMG Enhanced (three-pass plus verify) cycle.
StarTech USB disk copier / eraser: slow as molasses, at least with the USB HDDs that I am wiping. 24 hours later, and not even one completed pass of the three.
