Being an 8/16 bit system (16 bit machine word, 8 bit data bus), Sentinel 65X is not going to support Unicode in any form. At that level of sophistication, it’s codepages. Which codepage is the system default is an open question. CP858 has virtues, with fairly wide language support. CP437 has narrower language support but more box drawing characters. There’s no reason we can’t add support for any 8-bit clean codepage, of course. That’s as good as internationalization gets in the 8/16 but world.
