Updated blog post: I took my own advice, and said "yes" to the thing that scared me.
For me, this meant that I got to sing one of my favorite songs on stage with one of my favorite bands. For you it will probably mean something different, but saying "yes" to opportunities that are outside your comfort zone, and which open doors you didn't realize could be opened.
