Vaguely considering buying a Linux or de-Googled Android phone to replace my Pixel, or alternatively installing a de-Googled ROM on my next Android device.
If I’m to do this, I will need to be able to run up-to-date Android apps (probably including apps from Google Play). It would also be preferable to continue to use my previous cellular provider, which is one of the major providers in the US, so I’d like to know if that’s possible.
Also, what pairing of device and ROM would you recommend?
Please boost if you have some followers that know about this.
