I post an ad for a ride on a well-known carpooling app, posting in the description that I would also accept #Bitcoin🟠 as payment.
A guy responds to the ride ad, because he was intrigued that I would accept BTC!
During the ride, he asked me to explain more about how bitcoin and blockchain worked.🔗
I make him a 'pippone' (talked a lot about) the history, technical aspects, and its practical potential.
He wanted to pay me in bitcoin, but he had them on an exchange...So I had him download a wallet (on chain and LN⚡️), where he will have to move his BTC! 🟠
When we arrived at our destination, I sold him a few sats and with some of them he paid me back for the ride, stunned by the ease and speed of LN payments!⚡️
In these 3 hours I clearly spammed him with the best sources for learning and understanding #Bitcoin : @bip_show, il Priorato Podcast @turtlecute and @federicorivi.
Moral: it takes little to instill curiosity in people, but we have to be good at making them understand the power of this revolution!
