It is highly unlikely to turn out well if undertaken by a lone individual, but a sufficiently populous aggregation of individuals could at least have a go at it. The worst outcome that could occur would at least provide some stunning optics.

Include me out, though. Optics are ephemeral and only worth a finite expense. At best, they're only symbolic. That would mean more if we were facing a symbolic enemy. We're not. The fascists behind this coup are real AF. If we don't stop them now it will be too late to do it without bloodshed. Symbolic reaction isn't enough.

On the other hand, the current administration is systematically alienating one population group after another. Anti-fascism must either be a big tent or we will fail. We choose our friends, but history chooses our allies. Trump's antics are bringing us allies by the swaths. We recently even saw on the news a room packed full of old, white Republicans, shouting down arch conservative Senator Grassley. They were furious with what the government was doing (disrupting the Social Security Agency, ignoring the courts, etc.) and not doing (getting back "that guy in El Salvador"). They were absolutely furious. Old, white Republicans!

Anti-fascism and anti-authoritarianism in general are on a roll in America. Let's keep it rolling. It'll keep getting bigger through dynamic accretion.
