it looks correct, but the reason it works is aluminum powder is basically aluminum oxide (aluminum "rust"), so there's a LOT of oxygen there for the reaction. Shops that work with aluminum, like mills or whatever have to be careful about cleaning the work areas of the powder because it's stupid explosive. If you gall a grinding wheel with aluminum and then push harder against it it can ignite and throw molten aluminum everywhere and start all manner of piles of dust on fire.
