Started home schooling 2 years ago. Never going back.
We have made a lot of friends.
My kids are more socially adjusted and have time to pursue and develop their interests. My young son loves to program. My daughter loves to cook. My other daughter loves to write books. In public schools they wouldn't have time or encouragement for any of that.
Conformity and tests. Test scores are tied to funding. They want us all the same.
