i watched a few videos by a channel that was about people who quit their jobs often or don't find meaning in their work
it said that i shouldn't take my work so hard and seriously
then i recall someone here, or somewhere, said to me that a factory job would be easy, even a chimp could do it
and i recalled a video of a guy making a part from a machine from a youtube short
and then i thought about it a bit
the video said that it doesn't matter how well you do your job, your next jobs only care that you were in that position to begin with
and i realized that for some reason, some part of me believed hard work would reward me, despite the fact that i did more work, broke my back more, was tired more, that i was getting paid about the same as i was lazing around at one of the slowest job locations in the world
although i advertise myself as a hard worker and believe that i need to fulfill it fully so i don't get fired or replaced, at the end of the day, if my work matters nowhere, then the notion that i should work hard is simply idiocy
i could probably apply to mcdonalds, shouldn't be too hard of a walk, and get my money through there by working fast, since i naturally do quality work even when i slack, but i guess the big question is if i can survive it again after everything that's happened to me.
i'd rather try my hand at retail than go back to fast food chef.
