Turbo buttons had such a wrong name. They should have called it a sync button or some shit. All it did was make your pc slower to match a clock rate for older programs so really it was the opposite of turbo it was more like a valium to make ur pc chill the fuck out for a session pong.
In the later years that button did nothing at all (made obsolete by factory clocking software) it was left as a sales gimmick. You could take the case apart and see the button just ran to a single led switch.
