I moved to #Sunnyvale, California, in the mid-1990s. Sunnyvale is the geographic center of what was #SiliconValley.
As an electronic design engineer, I was at the most exciting place I could imagine. I was with my tribe.
Over the past two decades, corrupted by get-big-quick #VC business models and sloppy software-only development "products," Silicon Valley has a new ID: ugly "bros" whose only interests are control and money.
I recently moved away from the Valley. I find I don't miss it much.
