To be honest, I don’t think a term being outdated or inaccurate automatically makes it a slur, and I don’t think anyone should be bothered by people who are a part of those groups using those terms.
I have autistic friends who still say they ‘have autism’ or ‘have aspergers’, I have trans friends who self-identify as ‘transexual’ or ‘mtf’/‘ftm’ (though that last one has only very recently been identified as a misnomer).
If it’s a part of you, shouldn’t it be you who decides if the term is right?
