Woth this wonderful post, I'm wondering if you can help...
I run opnsense on an off-brand firewall box, I think its called Lanner electronics, with 1gb ports and an older cheap Intel chip. I have 5 interfaces mostly isolated from one another with typically about 10 devices connected, but can only get about 250mbps via Ethernet on 1gb fiber internet plan. With the ISP router I get more than double that. Is it likely my firewall rules or box hardware that is slowing me down?
