It's probably safe to say that atmospheric CO2 concentration has now passed its 2023 peak. At around 424.5ppmv it's a good 3 points higher than last year. That's about the biggest annual increase we've ever seen.
With all the fine words and efforts that have been made to mitigate global heating, we are actually making things worse at a faster rate. #ClimateCrisis
And that's without looking at other metrics such as methane or sea surface temperatures.
