My rss is categorized by subject. I do get a lot of posts, but I just scan titles/descriptions and read what I find interesting. I am not afraid to delete the unread ones.
Sometimes I delete entire categories without reading it ... I'm looking at you Movie category!
Finding new content...well that's what Mastodon and Lemmy is for. If someone posts something interesting, I will review the site and if I find good content, I subscribe.
