I got into New Model Army (and many other bands) when I went to university. I was at a mate's house and he was playing this album. I was blown away by it, especially the title track Vengence. I am not sure I had ever heard so much anger distilled into a song.
NMA are still one of my favourite bands. Their new albums are consistently good and their live shows are brilliant.
