Sometimes, when I’m feeling particularly top hole, I watch the trash truck as it collects my biweekly refuse offering.
Witnessing them empty my carefully separated household trash and recycling into the trash truck into one non-separated pile before running the compactor on the whole lot of it just makes me all the more confident that humanity is both willing and capable of solving all of its problems.
