Trump seems to think there's "defamation" in the distinction between a rapist and a sexual assaulter.
It's a perverse twist on what happened to Oscar Wilde. Wilde sued the Marquess of Queensberry who accused Wilde of being a "somdomite". Wilde sued for defamation and lost because he was doing the thing Queensberry accused him of doing.
