Quick electrical question:
(I'm in the u.s. BTW, with our super weird power)
So I was wiring up a 240v split phase three prong 30 Amp dryer socket. The socket has exposed metal casing, which I grounded. (I had four wire running to it; hot neutral hot ground, the socket only uses hot neutral hot, so I wired the ground to the metal case).
However, the instructions seem to suggest _don't_ ground _anything_.
This seems, fucking insane?
