So the reason the fan in the kitchen is noisy is because they have put it in a gap thats too narrow for the cowl so he had just jammed the cover between the ceiling and the cupboard. (He'd also left the hat that had filled the hole between the hole makers visit and his on top of the cupboard). I'd asked him about them being responsive to moisture and he said no they just run although he'd never read the instructions and yet I find a sophisticated control panel. Have they even been set up???
