The fundamental problem of Cashu and fedimints is that there is no control and no ability to audit how many Cashu tokens the mint actually produces.
Yes, the LN-BTC is known and secured, but the other side of the ledger...the actual eCash is uncontrollable issuance.
From a practical standpoint this severely limits its use.
