Of course, because it was a message intended for a public facing audience.

However, not all communications are intended for a public facing audience. In my opinion, P2P apps may offer tremendous value in this area.

For example, we include all sorts of metadata about ourselves in our Nostr profiles. Imagine the Nostr profile containing pointers to more private, P2P comm layers. In that scenario, Nostr becomes a sort of social glue — like a protocol layer that helps you find people, and gives you the opportunity to switch over to P2P where useful.
