The constitution is better than you know, make sure you understand what it means to call yourself a “US Citizen”.
If you’re born in one of the states of the union, then you have a citizenship much more powerful than US citizenship, and money is defined by gold and silver coin for citizens of the states. Not so for US Citizens, they get “negotiable instruments” ie the dollar…because they’re a corporate entity, not a freeman of the union.
