Because I am a good mother, I took Son #1 to go see the OG #Halloween since it was playing at a local theater, Micheal Myers is his favorite, and I’d never gotten around to watching any of the Halloween franchise. I get to spend time with my feral teenager and cross something off my I’m Gonna Watch This Someday List. Win Win.
Of course, it was excellent and a lot of fun. It’s #JohnCarpenter so there was never any doubt. Also, no one told me that Laurie Strode spent the whole movie serving looks. I really need a pair of those High Waisted Jeans That Make Your Ass Look Amazing But Are Still Comfortable Enough To Run From The Killer In.
Kid’s verdict is that it was good, but not as good as 2018 or Halloween Kills and that now I HAVE to watch them with him now. #WhatHaveIGottenMyselfInto
