Now running #GrapheneOS on a Pixel7 😎
Install was easy and pain free but It took me a few days to get it set up how I need and there's still some works in progress. It's a learning curve compared to the previously quick and painless android phone swapping apps 😅 and the stock apps are ugly 😂 but as a blank slate it's great, I've got it all looking nice now.
Restoring WhatsApp backup was a complete failure no matter what recommendations I tried from the forum so I've just gone with a clean slate for now. (I would ignore WhatsApp all together if I could)
The open source app LocalSend has been a godsend for making the switch and transferring files from the old device.
#asknostr : Will I have to do all this setup again if I switch to a new device in a few years or is it easier when swapping from GOS to GOS? Is there some config file I can transfer or similar?
