went on a date with a third generation hunter type. Theres rural small town people and then theres reeeeal deep rural and he was certainly that.
only observation i could make was 2 facts. not saying theres a connection but the dude ate a looot of meat. Like a lot. He hadnt bought meat in a store in 22 years. He kills for an actual living, not just for feeding but makes a lot of money killing.
Second observation was he looked deeply unhealthy. That is all.
The metaphysical hoo ha part of me wonders if the universe might make someone unwell who kills so much.
I couldn't get past it. The way he hoarded photos of mountain lions and other animals. Seemed to admire them and appreciate them but it seemed warped when i would hear the sentence, "I'm glad we killed her."
