The trolls currently like to claim that the carbon cost of renewables is higher than what they replace. Of course, they can't provide receipts, that would be 🤢math🤮 and also refutable. There's also a faction claiming that wind turbines are killing whales, obviously a tactic meant to peel a few lo-info whale lovers off.
The consistency of the counterfactual narratives makes it obvious they aren't spontaneous, and they show up very quickly.
